Having moved away from Vancouver, I feel my studies with Imam are more essential now than ever. The classes offer a way not only to understand the Quran, but to apply it, to live it, to embody it, wherever in the world you are.

The QHE class series does an excellent job at giving you the tools to navigate the Quran. Whereas many Tafsir courses may go through it chronologically, Imam Fode starts by identifying the common major themes which are found throughout the Quran. He helps you understand these themes using the Quran itself and how we can practically apply the knowledge in our lives.

Our Teacher

Imam Fode Drame is a prolific author, linguist, Quran exegist, teacher, father, international speaker, and at the forefront of a number of community initiatives. He established Zawiyah Foundation in Vancouver, BC, in 2005, a non-profit charity founded on his vision for humanity.


Imam Fode's work, whether through his foundation or his writings, is particularly concerned with providing the building blocks for the construction of the human character, the foremost among the subject matters of the Glorious Quran.
