Very recently a local resident was traversing the shores of the Queens Head with a companion on an outing to capture the beauty and splendor of a summer sunset on film. After a successful evening of pursuing the ultimate 'evening beachscape' photograph, the resident returned home satisfied and anxious to see the results.

While the majority of the images captured turned out to be brilliant shoreline sunsets, one of the photos showed a little more than was expected. Below is the photo taken that evening in late July. Many people thus far, including a physicist experienced in photography, have reviewed the photo and are unable to offer an explanation.

The photo clearly shows a strange glowing white mass just left of the photographs center. Could this be a specter revealing itself for a brief moment? Or is there a more rational explanation for this mysterious photo, such as a collision of stratospheric gases or just a plain old camera malfunction?

Here at QHEONLINE, we would like to hear what you have to say about it? We will be posting some of the explanations in the near future so get your entry in soon and you have the chance to win a printed version of the photo.
